How to choose: Decide what you are building: a database or internal tool, a marketing or content website, or a custom web app. Pricing models differ — per editor, per site, or by usage — so cost depends on the shape of your project.

Common questions about no-code solutions

How do Airtable, Webflow and Bubble charge differently?

Airtable charges per editor seat, Webflow charges per published site (with separate workspace seats for teams), and Bubble charges by plan tier with a monthly allowance of workload units that measure how much your app runs. Which is cheapest depends on whether you have many users, many sites, or one busy app.

Can I launch for free?

Partly. Airtable's free plan allows up to 5 editors and 1,000 records per base, and Webflow's free Starter plan publishes to a webflow.io subdomain. Bubble's free plan lets you build but not publish a live app, so going live starts on a paid plan.

How do you score each tool?

Every tool on this page is evaluated on the same four criteria: setup time, feature depth, support quality, and price-to-value. Numeric ratings are published only after hands-on testing. See our full methodology.
